Popcorn Key
One Popcorn: Flop
Two Popcorns: Wait till it’s on video
Three Popcorns: Go see it
Four Popcorns: Standing ovation

"Atlas Shrugged: Part 2"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Drama
Cast: Samantha Mathis, Jason Beghe, Esai Morales, Patrick Fabian, Kim Rhodes, Richard T. Jones, Diedrich Bader, Paul McCrane
Director: John Putch
Rating: PG-13
Comment: A frightening contemporary adaptation of Ayn Rand's classic novel about the collapse of capitalism along with a government take over and the disappearance/strike of key business creators. Not the best acting but a compelling story. Can't wait for Part 3!

"Seven Psychopaths"
One Popcorn
Genre: Comedy
Cast: Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Olga Kuryienko, Tom Waits, Abbie Cornish
Director: Martin McDonagh
Rating: R
Comment: A pseudo-intellectual attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor immersed in gratuitous violence and gore. An outstanding cast but as the title telegraphs, it's a twisted, psycho, stupid story. Of course the critics loved it. UGH! Proceed with caution.

"Alex Cross"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Suspense/Thriller
Cast: Tyler Perry, Edward Burns, Matthew Fox, Jean Reno. Carmen Ejogo, Cicely Tyson, Rachel Nichols, John C. McGinley, Werner Daehn
Director: Rob Cohen
Rating: PG-13
Comment: James Patterson book fans will enjoy this as did Popcorn. Tyler Perry is no action hero but he is real and true to the author's intent. It infuses a lot of heart into the drama.
