The Braden River High volleyball team defeated Cardinal Mooney 26-24, 25-21 and 25-15.
Senior Demi-Shay Watchorn finished with five kills, 13 digs and 15 assists and senior Courtney McDevitt added eight kills, nine digs and 13 assists to lead the way for Braden River. Sophomore Cassidy Barich finished with 10 kills and 14 digs.
The Lady Pirates (2-1) return to action Sept. 11 at Saint Stephen’s.
