Gulf and Bay Club condo sells for $650,000

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Sept. 3 and Sept. 7.

A condominium in Gulf and Bay Club tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James Zink, of Indianapolis, sold his Unit 302 condominium at 5790 Midnight Pass Road to Thomas and Suzanne McGee, of Kansas City, Mo., for $650,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,335 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $605,000 in 2002.

Whispering Sands
Judith Wolff, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 20 Whispering Sands Drive to Christopher Small, of Dayton, Ohio, for $525,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 1984.

Tortuga Beach
BMS Realty LLC sold the Unit 103 condominium at 8730 Midnight Pass Road to Oystein and Jane Fardal, of Eggersund, Norway, for $420,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,232 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $830,000 in 2005.

Peppertree Bay
Philip and Carol Maloney, of New Hope, Pa., sold their Unit 805 condominium at 1125 Peppertree Drive to Steven Grise and Maritza Poza-Grise, of Landenberg, Pa., for $382,500. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 1992.

Sunrise Cove
Mary Goss, trustee, of Nokomis, sold the Unit 518 condominium at 8977 Midnight Pass Road to Kenneth and Victoria Davis, of Brentwood, Tenn., for $290,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $110,000 in 1983.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club
Bernice Stein, trustee, sold the Unit 511 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Wally and Nancy Merrill, of Ontario, Canada, for $275,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,165 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 1999.

Siesta Harbor
Gail Twilley, trustee, sold the Unit 46 condominium at 1257 S. Portofino Drive to Timothy Andersen and Colleen Morrissette, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 929 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2010.

John Gannon and Norma Gannon, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 48 condominium at 1257 S. Portofino Drive to Judith Liskin-Gasparro, of Iowa City, Iowa, for $230,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 2006.

Paradise Cove
Jerry and Dana Krutil, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 102 condominium at 6600 Peacock Road to John and Sara Gensburg, of Highland Park, Ill., for $210,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,196 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $420,000 in 2005.
