Temple students celebrate new year

Temple Sinai students prepared themselves Sunday morning for the Jewish New Year that began Sunday, Sept. 16. Students took part in traditional ceremonies, including hearing the blowing of the shofar, and they were encouraged to remember the messages of the holiday. Students discussed things they wanted to improve in the coming year and made New Year’s cards for their loved ones.
