Don’t  tell my husband, but here is a little Italian gem on Venice Avenue that I am having a love affair with. So deep is this infatuation with Made In Italy that I ate there three times in one week. They had me at tronchetti di brie con prosciutto, rucola e funghi.

Now, let me describe: a thick wedge of creamy brie wrapped with prosciutto and layered with mushrooms, then placed in a casserole dish in the pizza  oven until it is gooey and sinfully warm, then topped with arugula so it wilts onto all of this goodness with a drizzle of balsamic. It is, well, a food affair!

Don’t stop there---get a bold, super Tuscan and a bowl of pasta if you dare ... as for my husband, if he plays his cards right I will bring him soon. But do I really have to share?
