The Riverview High softball team defeated rival Sarasota 2-1 April 3.
The Lady Rams scored a pair of runs in the first inning and relief pitcher Deanna Stevens, who came on in the top of second inning after Victoria Groves left with an injury, held the Lady Sailors to one run on six hits.
Stevens also had two hits for Riverview.
