Irv Naiditch mentions that many issues of racism were not showcased in the play Clybourne Park. Naiditch was in Chicago during the 1950’s and recalls seeing signs in that neighborhood which said no Jews and blacks allowed.
Lead actress Tyla Abercrumbie discusses that people may honestly not know the answer to some racial questions or issues because of the environment they may have been raised in.
Ralph Priestman said the play made him angry because many of these racial issues are never discussed but rather ignored. To his left stands Sue Jacobson and to his right Dr. Brenda Yanofsky.
