District opens parent hotline

The Manatee School District is offering a back-to-school information phone line as a resource for parents to ask questions about the coming school year.

Parents can call 941-782-128, starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, to ask questions about registration, school zones, bus stop locations and times and other questions.

The phone line will be available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 7 through  Aug. 16. Parents also can call the line from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 — the first day of school — and Aug. 20.
