Six-bedroom home sells for $4.5 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 22 and July 26.

A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Robert Young sold his home at 642 Ranger Lane to Troy Dolan, of Blairsville, Pa., for $4.5 million. Built in 2001, it has six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half baths, a pool and 7,091 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.85 million in 2006.

In a second transaction in Country Club Shores, Troy Dolan, of Indiana, Pa., sold his home at 610 Yardarm Lane to Robert Young, of County Durham, United Kingdom, for $2 million. Built in 2003, it has five bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,138 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.8 million in 2005.

Rebecca Volz, of Sarasota, sold her home at 540 Chipping Lane to Willard and Elizabeth Foley, of Warren, Pa., for $525,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,585 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $295,000 in 1995.

Beachplace
Joseph and Joyce Russo, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 406 condominium at 1135 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Daniel Miller and Susan Miller, of St. Cloud, Minn., for $1.21 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,819 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $465,000 in 1993.

Tangerine Bay Club
Paul Staff, of Hamilton, Ohio, sold his Unit 228 condominium at 350 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael White, of Longboat Key, for $710,000. Built in 1992, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,210 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $345,300 in 1992.

Sea Gate Club
Lois Hike sold her Unit 3-F condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to James Meeks Jr. and Natalie Rotella, of Longboat Key, for $550,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,513 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $190,000 in 1990.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club
Larry Gould, trustee, of Chicago, sold the Unit 831 condominium at 831 Bayport Way to Alice Desouza, of Bedford, N.H., for $332,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,000 in 1984.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Bernard and Patricia Clifford, of Presque Isle, Wis., sold their Unit 76 condominium at 914 Spanish Drive S. to Joseph and Nancy Mazzarese, of Easton, Pa., for $240,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,341 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 2008.

Casa del Mar
Andrea Elia, trustee, of Arden, N.C., sold the Unit 20 condominium at 4621 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jennifer Saldana, of Lakeland, for $235,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 900 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1990.

Windward Bay
Carole Rudman and Ellen Genauer, trustees, of Richmond, Mass., sold the Unit 302 condominium at 4600 Gulf of Mexico Drive to L. JoAnn Steinke and Kevin and Stacie Steinke, of McLean, Va., for $230,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 1987.

ST. ARMANDS
John Ringling Estates
Giuliano Family Ltd. Partnership sold the home at 763 Tyler Drive to Vernon and Liliana Chalfant, of Sarasota, for $2.7 million. Built in 1991, it has six bedrooms, seven baths, a pool and 8,586 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.2 million in 2000.

Kendall Kellaway Jr., of Norwell, Mass., sold his home at 373 S. Washington Drive to Richard Duperey, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1,027,300. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,665 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.55 million in 2007.

Key Towers South
Mark and Kim Royals, of Lutz, sold their Unit PH-C condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Bassam and Wanda Hammoud, of Northville, Mich., for $650,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,364 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $380,000 in 1998.

BIRD KEY
Ekrem and Zeynep Barut, of Sarasota, sold their home at 400 Pheasant Drive to Blue Mountain Homes LLC for $553,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $228,000 in 1996.
