Sarasota Crew rower Shawna Sims won a silver medal for Team USA in the 4X at the 2013 World Rowing Junior Championships Aug. 10 in Lithuania.
Sims, a senior at Venice High, and her teammates crossed the finish line in 6 minutes, 35.33 seconds to finish second behind Italy (6:34.44).
