A condominium in Siesta Gulf View sells for $1.6 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Aug. 5 and Aug. 9.

A condominium in Siesta Gulf View tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Elaine Cathcart and Clarice Baggett, of Athens, Tenn., sold their Unit 801 condominium at 420 Beach Road to Edwina Schulman, of Sarasota, for $1.6 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,699 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $568,000 in 1989.

A. Ingemar and Janet Persson sold their home at 5315 Palos Verdes Drive to Robert Smith and Roxanne Roberts, trustees, of Sarasota, for $965,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,916 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,000 in 1995.

Coral Cove
Arnold Johnsen, of Sarasota, sold his home at 7315 Periwinkle Drive to Sandy Acquisitions LLC for $585,000. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,011 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 1993.

205 Golden Gate Point LLC sold the Unit 401 condominium at 205 Golden Gate Point to Cindy Taliaferro, trustee, of $435,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,535 square feet of living area.

Audrey Shutters, of Sarasota, sold her home at 3339 Sheffield Circle to Sharon Ecker, of Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,360 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $218,000 in 2002.

Mahi Towers LLC sold the Unit 16-A condominium at 101 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Nestor and Desiree Charriez, of Scotch Plains, N.J., for $249,900. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,329 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $40,000 in 2011.

David and Eugenia LaFleur, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3438 Anglin Drive to Killer Concepts LLC for $637,500. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $189,000 in 1983.

Siesta Towers
Nicholas and Violet Nagy, of Westport, Conn., sold their Unit 8-C condominium at 4822 Ocean Blvd. to Jeffrey and Maria Manning, of Sarasota, for $540,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $106,000 in 1989.

IRA Services LLC and Advanta IRA Services LLC sold the home at 636 Calle De Peru to Henry and Margaret Dombrowski, of Oxford, Mich., for $275,000. Built in 1948, it has two bedrooms, one bath, a pool and 663 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 2008.
