Obituary: Elizabeth Poss Colebrook

Elizabeth Poss Colebrook, 90, of Aurora, Ohio, died Aug. 10.

She was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Aurora. She married her husband, Jack Colebrook, in 1944 and they lived in Aurora until 1991, when they moved to Longboat Key.

She loved to play tennis, garden and had a passion for writing. She compiled all of her writings together into a book called “Digging up Grandpa,” which was published in 2011.

Mrs. Colebrook is survived by her four children, Michael, Susan, Deborah and Kristina; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned in the future. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Aurora Community Theatre, P.O. Box 9, Aurora, OH, 44202.
