+ SOS keeps eye on eagle
Save Our Seabirds (SOS) rescued a bald eagle in November from The Concession in University Park, after it was apparently injured by barbed wire.

After stabilizing the bird, treating her wounds and performing X-rays, SOS sent the eagle to the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, in Maitland, for specialized treatment.

If her treatment is successful, the eagle will be landing back at SOS, which will then release her back into the wild.
