Children at Gene Witt Elementary School raised more than $7,000 at a recent walk-a-thon fundraiser. Money will be used to purchase technology for the school and to reimburse teachers for classroom books and supplies.
“The principal and teachers who got dunked were such great sports, and the kids had a blast,” Witt PTO Treasurer Michelle Vondran says.
