A waterfront Country Club Shores home recently sold for $4.3 million.

Barbara Ackerman, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office, represented the seller. Michael Yawitz, of Michael Saunders & Co.’s Longboat Key South office, represented the buyer.

The transaction is the fifth highest sale on Longboat Key in 2013 and the second most expensive sale for the year in Country Club Shores.

“This was a tremendous property with loads of unique features, from the car lift and waterfront garage door to the monochromatic blue interior décor and the magnificent entryway,” Ackerman said in a prepared statement. “Luxury real estate is booming in Longboat Key, and while this gem has been snapped up, there are still several showcase homes on the market for buyers interested in the Gulf Coast lifestyle.”

The home has more than 7,000 square feet and a two-story, glass-domed entryway showcasing a dolphin sculpture with multiple water and light settings.

Other features include a four-car garage, private dock with a 30,000-pound boatlift and davit, 2,400 square feet of outdoor living space, an Infinity pool, bubbling spa and overflow lap pool.
