Dec. 6 
 Double trouble

Midnight — 800 block of Kay Road N.E. Driving While License Suspended. As he sat in his parked vehicle, a deputy saw a white car speed past him. The car traveled 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. The deputy pulled over the driver and asked for insurance, vehicle registration and license. The driver said her license had been suspended because she had recently been arrested for driving under the influence. The deputy determined the woman had been arrested for DUI Nov. 5. The woman was arrested again.

Dec. 9
 Arm in arm

12:23 a.m. — 5500 block of 41st Street East. Burglary. Armed burglars forced entry into a home. Once inside, the burglars ransacked the master bedroom. The burglars stole two firearms before fleeing.

Phone swipe
3:43 p.m. — 6900 block of Linger Lodge Road. Theft. A student’s phone was stolen from her desk inside a technology classroom at an elementary school. The victim tracked her lost phone to a specific address. A person at the address, a male student at the school, admitted to stealing the phone. He was arrested.

While you were out
11:38 p.m. — 4900 block of Peridia Boulevard East. Burglary. While a homeowner was out running errands for less than three hours, an unknown person pried open the locked sliding-glass master bedroom door. Once inside, the person stole items before fleeing by unknown means.

Dec. 10
 One man’s trash

8:39 a.m. —8300 block of Lockwood Ridge Road. Trespass Warning. A homeless man sat at the edge of a lake reading a magazine. He was surrounded by trash and empty beer cans. A deputy issued a trespass warning to the man, because he felt the man’s appearance and behavior was disruptive. The man offered to clean up the mess, but then he acted arrogant, a deputy said, and left the property.

Shopping spree
1 p.m. — 2900 block of 53rd Avenue. Identity Theft. A man’s wife notified him about a suspicious transaction that appeared in their bank statement. The man reviewed the account and determined unknown person(s) used one of his checks to make a $366.57 purchase at a department store. The man authorized his bank to stop the payment.

Want for nothing
2:20 p.m. — 8300 block of Sailing Loop. Burglary. A person entered an unlocked vehicle and went through the glove box and center console. The person stole nothing.

Unwelcome guests
2:58 p.m. — 6600 block of 48th Avenue Drive E. Criminal Mischief. A man was riding his ATV around the outside of his home. The property also has a guesthouse. When the homeowner rode near the recently remodeled guesthouse, he found it damaged. Unknown persons, believed to be juveniles, broke three windows to the guesthouse using a baseball bat. Inside the guesthouse, police found three soda cans and evidence the intruders had tried to start a fire. Deputies also discovered a scooter inside. Deputies took photographs of the scene. There have been no arrests.
