Ring in your new year in style with our guide to the best holiday events in town. With such a wide variety of events this year, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Ritz-Carlton Sarasota New Year’s Eve Block Party — takes place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31. Cost is $55. This block party offers a view of the bay, plus live music and dancing. Admission includes party favors and a glass of champagne.

“Let’s Make a Deal!” New Year’s Eve Celebration — takes place at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Sarasota Players Theatre. Cost is $25. Spice up your New Year’s Eve by spending an evening with Beneva Fruitville, who will host a night of  games and entertainment.

Damon Fowler Group — takes place at 7:30 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Blue Rooster. Cost is $15. In the mood for some live music? Spend the evening with the Damon Fowler Group, who will be supporting their new album, “Sounds of Home.”

Beach Club New Year’s Eve — takes place at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Beach Club, Siesta Key. This Vegas-themed party includes 1,000 lbs. of confetti, a cash-filled balloon drop, show girls, free party favors and more.

Sarasota Pineapple Drop — takes place at  2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, in downtown Sarasota. Cost is free.  Ring in the new year with a local tradition. The Pineapple Drop features both day and nighttime activities. Live music begins at 6 p.m., and the pineapple drops at midnight.
