Jan. 23
Gadget grab
5:22 a.m. — 8800 block of Haven Harbour Way. Vehicle Burglary. Unknown person(s) stole a laptop, Verizon phone charger, Panasonic camera, Ray-Ban sunglasses, iPhone charger and a small flashlight from a Ford Focus and a Ford Escape. The cars were parked in the victims’ driveway and unlocked. The stolen items value $1,915.

Shattered workout
9:40 p.m. — 8400 block of Lockwood Ridge Road. Burglary. A woman went to the gym. When she returned to her car, she found her driver’s-side window shattered and her purse and its contents missing.
Jan. 27
Cyber stalker
12:25 a.m. — 5800 block of Carriage Drive. Harassment. The victim and suspect met on an online dating website in June 2012. Soon thereafter, the suspect began calling the victim’s phone more than 20 times per day, constantly questioning her about her whereabouts. After their breakup, the suspect continued to call, text and email the victim. He even sent her sexual texts from his son’s phone. The victim said she has blocked five phone numbers and six email addresses in the past few months. The harassment continues, so the victim is pursuing a court order forbidding the suspect from contacting her.

Strike two
10:50 p.m. — 5500 block of State Road 64 E. Curfew Violation. A juvenile violated his curfew while on probation for burglary. A deputy found the juvenile riding his bike and arrested him.
Clean plate
10:26 a.m. — 2800 block of University Parkway. Grand Theft. An unknown suspect(s) stole a man’s Florida license plate from his trailer while it was parked at a grocery store. The license plate had been secured with metal ties that were cut off to remove the plate.
Gun Swipe
11:15 a.m. — 7900 block of Conservatory Circle. Theft of Firearm. A man was showing a gun to a prospective buyer. When he left the room to get another firearm to display, the prospective buyer left with the gun without paying. It wasn’t until the next morning that the seller noticed the firearm was gone.

Nursery rhyme
10:54 a.m. — 15100 block of State Road 64 E. Grand Theft. Unknown person(s) cut the fence to a plant nursery and took six plants, valued at $450, from the property.
How does your garden grow?
12:03 a.m. — 15100 block of State Road 64 E. Theft. Unknown person(s) entered an unfenced portion of a plant nursery and took a tree boom. There are no suspects and little evidence to locate the missing boom.
Jan. 30
Shine bright like a diamond
6:51 p.m. — 6600 block of the Masters Avenue. Theft. Two rings went missing from the victim’s home while a window-cleaning company was there. There were no arrests or suspects.
