Braden River High senior Courtney Mirabella threw a six-hit shutout, striking out 16, to lead the Lady Pirates to a 2-0 victory over Sarasota in Class 7A-District 11 action Feb. 19.
Kenya Yancy went 3-for-4 and Bethany Keen and Hannah Loyer each had two hits.
