A local real estate listing for a home on the market for nearly $15 million picked up some noteworthy publicity in the Wall Street Journal.

The Feb. 15 article in the Private Properties section, under the headline “Show Us the Money: MoneyShow’s Founders Ask $14.9 Million in Florida,” detailed the listing of a home on South Shore Drive. The sellers are Kim and Charles Githler, prominent local entrepreneurs and philanthropists who founded the company MoneyShow, an investment advice business that includes seminars and websites. The listing agents for the home are Nora Johnson and Linda Dickinson with Michael Saunders & Co.

The 10,879-square-foot Indian Beach neighborhood waterfront home, according to the article, has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and three half-baths. It includes a 1,400-bottle wine room, an 11-seat home theater and a bar with a fish tank. The property, with views of Sarasota Bay and Longboat Key, includes a pool, an outdoor kitchen and two docks, the article states. The home was built in 2005, Multiple Listing Service data shows.
