Cardinal Mooney girls fall in district title game

The top-seeded Cardinal Mooney High girls soccer team fell 4-2 to Bishop Verot in the Class 2A-District 11 championship Jan. 18.

Anna Brusco and Rose Amato each scored goals for the Lady Cougars.

As the district runner-up, Cardinal Mooney traveled to Benjamin High in West Palm Beach for a regional quarterfinal match Jan. 23.
