The Ellenton-Parrish Lions Club has awarded an honorary Melvin Jones Fellowship to member Lois Macdonald.

Macdonald participates in and contributes to virtually every project in the club and has held numerous offices within the organization.

The fellowship is in honor of Melvin Jones, who founded Lions Clubs International in 1917 and is the highest honor attainable in Lions Club International; it acknowledges an individual’s commitment to humanitarian service.
