Siesta Chamber announces 2013 Crystal Classic

The dates for the 2013 Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition are set in sand for Nov. 15, through Nov. 18, according to the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce.

Ten teams of master sand sculptors will craft creations in the viewing area and more than 50 vendors will surround the site on Siesta beach.

New features at this year’s event include offsite parking and shuttle service from Riverview High School and a Mobi-Mat to allow wheelchair access to the sculpture viewing area, according to a chamber release.
