Perq Coffee Bar is responsible for the brand new buzz---not only the jolt from this unique, small-batch coffee boutique experience, but the buzz all around town as people are flocking to Perq to hang out and try something new with caffeine that seems socially responsible and as precise as a 40-year-old single malt scotch.

For me, however, the biscuits are the biggest attraction. I have traveled throughout the South looking for the fluffiest, lightest biscuits. My friends and I have found them with a savory hit of herb at Perq. Look no further than the pastry case and you will fall instantly in love with an almost pillowy biscuit made from scratch.

It's best to buy two or three, since they sell out almost immediately (as they should), and you wouldn’t want to leave unsatisfied a true craving for the best biscuit I have yet to find in town. Wash them down with a pull of strong boutique coffee, and your day really is ready to buzz.
