East County high school seniors celebrated the end of their high school careers last week, during commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2013.

Braden River High School kicked off Manatee County Public Schools’ celebrations with a graduation ceremony Wednesday, May 29, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. The school graduated its largest senior class to date, with 492 students.

Lakewood Ranch High School and The Out-of-Door Academy held commencement ceremonies Saturday, June 1. Lakewood Ranch High’s ceremony also was held at the convention center, and ODA’s ceremony was held at the Upper School’s Thunderdome.
