Sarasota High senior Natasha Wilcox signed a national letter of intent May 21 to play basketball for Daytona State College.
Wilcox helped lead the district champion Lady Sailors to a 23-4 record this past season.
+ Fleet Feet Sports hires a fit specialist
Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota recently announced the addition of Mary Bellows to its fit-specialist team.
Bellows, a former Manatee High distance runner, is a graduate of the State College of Florida and a registered certified running coach and has multiple years of retail shoe-fitting experience.
“I enjoy engaging customers in running, walking or any sport by helping them find the best products to excel in their personal physical fitness quest,” Bellows says.
+ Extra Innings plans indoor summer camps
Extra Innings Sarasota will hold indoor comprehensive baseball and softball clinics throughout the summer for players ages 5 through 13.
Clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 10 through June 13; June 17 through June 20; June 24 through June 27; July 8 through July 11; July 15 through July 18; July 22 through July 25; and Aug. 5 through Aug. 8.
Players will enhance their skills through fundamental improvement and gain a competitive advantage.
Cost is $109 for members, $129 for nonmembers or a multi-camp discount of $89 (members) and $109 (nonmembers).

+ Totally Tennis to hold summer fundraiser
Totally Tennis will hold a festival fundraiser July 14, at the Payne Park Tennis Center, 2050 Adams Lane, Sarasota, to raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota.
Local tennis professionals Tiffany Davies, Nate Griffin, Hugo Amando and Jordan Cox will play one set of mixed doubles, men’s doubles and men’s singles. Action will begin at 9 a.m. In between matches, Nick Bollettieri and Tony Torrence will speak.
