Vizcaya condominium sells for $1,987,500

The following residential real estate transactions took place between May 27 and May 31.

A condominium in Vizcaya at Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Deborah Cook and Victor Cook Jr., trustees, of Columbus, Ohio, sold the Unit 2E2 condominium at 2377 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Frank and Katherine Martucci, of Ancramdale, N.Y., for $1,987,500. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,169 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,320,000 in 2005.

Harbour Court
James and Patricia Ericson, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 2262 Harbour Court Drive to Joseph and Joan McSweeny, of Saddle River, N.J., for $1,325,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 3,189 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.2 million in 2004.

Beachplace
Laura Rifkin sold her Unit 105 condominium at 1045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Cecil and Gillian Barnett, of Longboat Key, for $1,185,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,819 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $890,000 in 2010.

Mark and Ellen Richmond, of Highland Park, Ill., sold their Unit 505 condominium at 1055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Catherine Mikus, of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., for $743,400. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 2002.

Emerald Harbor
Angelo and Marcia Cayo sold their home at 5921 Emerald Harbor Drive to Patrik and Carola Edin, of Vermdo, Sweden, for $1.15 million. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,244 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2010.

Longboat Key Towers
George Watterson, of Cheshire, England, sold his Unit S-401 condominium at 601 Longboat Club Road to Maureen Watterson, of Cheshire, England, for $750,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,420 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2008.

Lois Curry, of Sarasota, sold her Unit S-404 condominium at 601 Longboat Club Road to S-404 Longboat Key Towers LLC for $725,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,560 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $62,200 in 1970.

The Players Club
Harry Glasspiegel, trustee, of Chicago, sold the Unit 104 condominium at 1425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Scott and Martha Paczosa, of Park Ridge, Ill., for $700,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,771 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $575,000 in 1999.
Country Club Shores

John and Tanya Marsden, of West Yorkshire, England, sold their home at 510 Putting Green Lane to Steven and Melissa Epstein, of Coral Springs, for $680,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,815 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $825,000 in 2008.

Privateer North
Gage McNally LLC sold the Unit 906 condominium at 1050 Longboat Club Road to Francis and Carla La Voie, of Mundelein, Ill., for $645,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,409 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $415,000 in 2010.

Islands West
Howard and Virginia Biddle, trustees, of Mill Valley, Calif., sold the Unit 3-D condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Charles and Carolyn Moore, of Houston, for $585,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,468 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $205,000 in 1984.
Fairway Bay

Bernard and Patricia Murphy, of Jefferson, Ind., sold their Unit 222 condominium at 1932 Harbourside Drive to Richard and Sharon Kleinberg, of Chestnut Hill, Mass., for $365,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2010.

Portobello
Susan Leighton, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, sold her Unit B603 condominium at 3240 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Stephen Pollock and Victoria Snelling, of Prospect, Ky., for $270,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $68,500 in 1977.

Longbeach Village
Charles Wickersham, trustee, Melanni Fowler, Mark Wickersham and Cynthia English, of Myakka City, sold the home at 730 Fox St. to Jay Robertson, of Sarasota, for $205,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,050 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $60,000 in 1992.

Lido Shores
Charles and Margaret Robbins, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1190 Westway Drive to Henry and Mary Rodrigues, of Ontario, Canada, for $925,000. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,632 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $349,000
in 1997.
