+ Gene Witt students help the homeless
Students at Gene Witt Elementary School ended their school year with an act of giving. Students collected socks for the homeless, and, on June 4, students in Jamie Reagan’s fourth-grade class delivered 474 pairs of socks to Cheryl Hedger, representative of Turning Points, a local non-profit that serves individuals who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.
