Bea Friedman came to Sarasota in 1948 the same year Israel gained its independence. She is a great philanthropist and was awarded with the Guardian of Israel award at the luncheon for her generous efforts both in Israel and Sarasota.
The Jewish National Foundation presents the Friedman family with the Guardian of Israel award.
