Singer/songwriter Amanda Palmer, along with her husband, graphic novelist Neil Gaiman, utilized the power of social media to stage an impromptu performance Sunday, March 17, at Ringling College.

Palmer, of Dresden Dolls, Evelyn Evelyn and Grand Theft Orchestra fame, and Gaiman, who is best known for his novels, "Coraline" and "The Graveyard Book," sent out tweets the day before in search of a venue to perform a guerilla-style reading, which they call “Ninja Jams.”

The two arranged to play in the courtyard of Ringling College, where hundreds of fans gathered to listen to a musical performance by Palmer and a reading by Gaiman.
