BRHS Rifle Team nabs top honors

The Braden River High School JROTC Pirate Rifle Team brought home its first first-place finish in the Area 5 Rifle Match March 2.

Team captain Haili Knutson shot a 269, the highest score at the match and a school record. She also placed first in standing position.

Hunter Hageman placed first in the prone position, and Maxwell Fletcher placed third in the standing position.

Knutson will compete at the State Rifle Match April 27, along with Fletcher, Dylan Cardozo and A.J. Baily.
