Mustangs improve to 2-0 in Red Bracket

The Lakewood Ranch High baseball team improved to 2-0 in Pool B of the Red Bracket with a 15-8 victory over Dade Christian in the quarterfinal round of the Sarasota Baseball Classic March 26.

Andrew Giddens had a double, a triple and six RBIs to power the Mustangs at the plate.

Justin Greenaway had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Cameron Pearcey, Garrett Schultz each had two hits and scored a pair of runs. Brandon Lewellen each had two hits and three runs scored.

Lakewood Ranch will finish pool play at 7:30 p.m. tonight versus Eagle’s View Academy, at the Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex.
