MICKEY SUMNER, WWE SUPERSTAR BRODUS CLAY and DAVID CALL Coming to Sarasota Film Festival

This year’s BREAKTHROUGH AWARD goes to Mickey Sumner for her work in IFC Films’ FRANCE HA, our Closing Night Film. She will receive the award at our Tribute Luncheon April 12th at the Sarasota Yacht Club (click here to buy tickets now!)

You may also recognize Mickey Sumner from last year’s MISSED CONNECTIONS (Winner of the Sarasota Film Festival Audience Award 2012) and Showtime’s THE BORGIAS. The luncheon will be a star-studded event also featuringGriffin Dunne, Lili Taylor, Mariel Hemingway, Barbara Kopple and Suzanne Clément receiving awards. Don’t miss it!

Cheryl Hines (star of the festival’s Spotlight Film PASADENA and the hit show SUBURGATORY) will host our Filmmaker Awards on Saturday, April 13th at the Sarasota Opera House.
