“The Game’s Afoot” is a murder-mystery farce about theater people, written by Ken Ludwig, the man responsible for “Moon Over Buffalo” and “Lend Me A Tenor.” It’s about American actor William Gillette, who played the role of Sherlock Holmes. He invites his cast-members over for a dinner party, when events go awry and a guest is mysteriously stabbed to death. Gillette takes on the characteristics of Sherlock Holmes to solve the crime before the next victim gets claimed.
