Bay Haven names new principal

Pending Sarasota County School Board approval May 21, Chad Erickson, of Altoona, Wis., will succeed Betsy Asheim as principal of Bay Haven School of Basics Plus. Sarasota County School District Superintendent Lori White announced Tuesday, May 7, that she will recommend him for the position.

Erickson has served as principal of Sherman Elementary School in Wisconsin since 2001, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin. Erickson is scheduled to assume his duties at Bay Haven on July 1.
