April 23
Just doing his job
2:40 p.m. — 2400 block of GMD
. Civil Disturbance. A woman complained the company that is installing cellular equipment on the roof of her condo is damaging her unit walls by using heavy equipment. Police observed cracks within the unit’s interior. A worker said the woman came out on the roof and started yelling and using profanities. He agreed to stop for the day but said he had to finish his job.

Gone fishing
7:20 p.m. — 500 block of Ketch Lane. Suspicious Person. A man was fishing on a dock near the back of an unoccupied home. He gave police documentation to show that he works for a company that maintains properties that are in foreclosure. He decided to fish in the canal during a work break.

April 25
Can’t catch a break
8:59 p.m. — 5700 block of GMD.
Reckless Driving. A woman said she almost rear-ended a car while driving on Bradenton Beach. The driver got angry, slammed his brakes several times and squirted wiper fluid on her car. She tried to call 911 after driving onto the north end but had no cell service. She called police when she got home.

April 26
Open-and-shut case
9:52 a.m. — 4200 block of GMD.
Code Enforcement. A worker slammed the door in the face of a town employee who was trying to stop a work order on a property that didn’t have permits. When police arrived, the worker was leaving the area.

April 29
You can’t miss him
8:04 p.m. — 700 block of Bayport Way.
Suspicious Circumstance. A woman encountered a 5-foot-4-inch, dark-skinned, black-haired man wearing a day-glo orange thong who spoke with an accent. He sat next to the woman on her condo’s beach and asked her to take several pictures of him. She felt uncomfortable and asked another beachgoer to walk her home.
