Ranch rallies against cancer

East County residents will rally to fight cancer Saturday, May 18, as the American Cancer Society hosts its annual Lakewood Ranch Relay for Life event at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA.

This year’s relay starts at 1 p.m. and will continue through the morning of Sunday, May 19.

The community can get involved by walking in the relay, or by coming out and purchasing food and drink or participating in games and other activities relay teams host to raise money for the fight against cancer.
