"Star Trek Into Darkness"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Sci-Fi
Cast: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban
Director: J.J. Abrams
Rating: PG-13
Comment: Most action packed Star Trek ever! Tough to "suspend disbelief" from time to time given the fantastic action scenes but a lot of Sci- Fi fun. Good continuity with the Star Trek brand histrionics as well.

"Renoir"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Foreign Drama
Cast: Michel Bouquet, Vincent Rottiers, Christa Theret, Thomas Doret, Michele Gleizer
Director: Gilles Bourdos
Rating: R
Comment: An drama depicting Renoir in his declining years, artfully done. Very slow but captivating.

"The Reluctant Fundamentalist"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Suspense / Thriller
Cast: Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Nelsan Ellis, Live Schreiber, Martin Donovan
Director: Mira Nair
Rating: R
Comment: A timely look at a young and bright Pakistani caught in the wake of 9/11 torn between his love of America and his Muslim and cultural ties to activist colleagues in Pakistan infiltrated by the CIA.
