+ Lakewood honors athletic alumni
Lakewood Ranch High School is honoring its athletic alumni through the new Legacy Brick Project located at the entrance to the football stadium.

The Legacy Brick Project honors exceptional former Lakewood Ranch athletes. Each brick features the athlete’s name, graduation year and sport. Players must have graduated and played a varsity sport as a senior to be eligible.

“Although this program has just started, we feel it is a great way to honor student athletes who have helped build our program into the successful leader that we are all enjoying today,” Quarterback Club spokesperson Todd Sears says.

Athletes can get a brick by contacting Athletic Director Shawn Trent, Sears or going to the wagon during the first half of this year’s home football games. Bricks are $50 with checks made payable to Lakewood Ranch High School. Players can have up to three sports printed on their bricks.
