Islands West condo sells for $930,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Oct. 21 and Oct. 25.

A condominium in Islands West tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Theresa Nibi, trustee, sold the Unit 11-A condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Simon Greenman and Judith Krieg, of Longboat Key, for $930,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,460 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2007.

Laguna Yacht Village
Leonard and Iris Meyer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 7 condominium at 6334 Laguna Drive to Mark Waldrep, of Sarasota, for $850,000. Built in 2012, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,454 square feet of living area.

Cedars West of Longboat
W. Curtis and Julia Broughton, of Georgetown, Texas, sold their Unit 102 condominium at 5655 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Allison and Robert Ausband, of McDonough, Ga., for $525,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,274 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2004.

The Players Club
Donald and Linda Briedrick sold their Unit 204 condominium at 1425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to DJS Partners LLC for $500,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,561 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1985.

Seaplace
Jane Gonzales, of Waterford, Mich., sold her Unit M2-111-G condominium at 1945 Gulf of Mexico Drive to The Alicea Group LLC for $445,800. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,076 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $410,000 in 2002.

Michael Cole and Carole Covino, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit G2-214-E condominium at 2055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Duane Wollant, of Sewickley, Pa., for $265,000. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,094 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $235,000 in 2003.

Bay Harbour
Wayne Spiekhout and Darcy Balicki-Spiekhout, of Bradenton, sold their Unit 104 condominium at 448 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Alise Berty, of Indianapolis, for $373,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 2009.

Silver Sands
FL Silver Sands LLC sold the Unit 257 condominium at 5841 Gulf of Mexico Drive to James and Shelagh Needham, of Kent, United Kingdom, for $370,000. Built in 2004, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 760 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2010.

Fairway Bay
Judith Vance, of Escondido, Calif., sold the Unit 143 condominium at 1930 Harbourside Drive to Joyce Jefferson, of Wheeling, W.Va., for $300,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,905 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $355,000 in 1995.

Whitney Beach
Ronald Mechlin sold his Unit 172 condominium at 6750 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jack and Susan Pickering, of Bloomington, Ill., for $247,500. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,377 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $128,000 in 1996.

First Longboat Harbour
Donna Lenobel, Bruce Cybul and Jeffrey Lenobel, trustees, sold the Unit 104 condominium at 4340 Falmouth Drive to Wade and Kathy Loseman, trustees, of Longboat Key, for $240,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1992.

Longboat Harbour
Jolene Goldenthal, trustee, sold the Unit 201 condominium at 4430 Exeter Drive to Chris and Valerie Dinger, of Harrisburg, Pa., for $226,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,500 in 1989.

Beach Harbor Club
Marilyn Cameron, Joseph Saltamachia and Patricia Pami, of Verona, N.J., sold their Unit A-303 condominium at 3802 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Roman and Stacy Leskiw, of Farmington, Conn., for $215,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,007 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $85,000 in 1987.

BIRD KEY
Michael Cheslow, of Sarasota, sold his home at 643 Owl Way to Kathryn Damude, of Ontario, Canada, for $810,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,944 square feet of living area.

ST. ARMANDS
St. Armands Towers
Susan Christopher Greco, trustees, of Haverhills, Mass., sold the Unit 53 condominium at 101 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Dennis and Judith Matthies, of Ocean Grove, N.J., for $657,500. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,275 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $635,000 in 2011.

Nellie Axelroad, trustee, sold the Unit 417 condominium at 1104 Benjamin Franklin Drive to John and Graciela Keane, of Alexandria, Va., for $423,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,494 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $137,500 in 1980.
