+ Engel & Völkers opens Whitney Beach plaza office
Engel & Völkers Longboat Key Realty opened its new real estate office in Whitney Beach Plaza at 6824 Gulf of Mexico Drive.

The company was the first new tenant to confirm it would open in the north-end shopping center following the center’s recent $2 million renovation. Engel & Völkers Longboat Key’s previous office was in Mediterranean Plaza.

Five Longboat Key agents were honored for ranking in the top 1% of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate sales associates in Florida for 2012.

Barbara Ackerman, Judy Kepecz-Hays, Lynne Koy, Bruce Myer and Roger Pettingell were recognized for their performance at a gala at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, which more than 100 of the company’s associates attended.

+ MS&Co. showcases its properties at Hurlingham Club
Michael Saunders & Co. showcased some of its most luxurious properties at London’s Hurlingham Club Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, at an invitation-only viewing.

According to the company’s blog, thesaundersblog.com, London is an ideal setting for reaching premium international buyers because of its influence on Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Russia.

+ Lena White named vice president of marketing
Lena White has been named vice president of marketing for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

She will oversee all aspects of the company’s marketing divisions, including advertising, communications, creative design and strategic planning. She will also focus on marketing initiatives for new development projects for The Lutgert Companies, Premier Sotheby’s parent company.
