VIDEO: Season of Sculpture artists speak about their work

Attendees of the Nov. 16 Season VII "Shared Ground" celebration raised their glasses of champagne as booms sounded overhead. It was a surprise fireworks show to culminate the planning and installation of the biannual free outdoor art exhibition that decorates the bayfront.

Five of the eight artists who contributed the 18 sculptural pieces were in attendance, along with donors, board members, curators and supporters of the exhibit. The evening of the celebration the five artists spoke to The Observer about their pieces. Hear them and see a video tour of the southern-most portion of the exhibit here. The pieces will remain on display through May 30.
