+ Compeer program celebrates its volunteers at appreciation tea
Board members and staff of Coastal Behavioral Healthcare held an appreciation tea Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Glasser Schoenbaum Center, for the volunteers in the Compeer program — a way to thank volunteers for their gift of friendship.

Prior to the program, guests enjoyed scones and tea in the Loevner room of the Glasser Schoenbaum Center, while enjoying live music from flutist Evelyn Miller. Sandra Hanna, vice president of emergency services and managed care at Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, welcomed guests, and Compeer founder Bunny Skirboll recognized the volunteers.

The Compeer program at Coastal Behavioral Healthcare matches community volunteers with people receiving mental health care at the center.
