The Sarasota Ministerial Association held its 13th annual Thanksgiving luncheon theater Wednesday, Nov. 27.

St. Martha's Church hosted the meal and offered guests a free turkey lunch with a live comedy performance. This year’s show, titled “Thanksgiving at the Circus,” starred local community leaders.

Sarasota County Commissioner Joe Barbetta and Sarasota City Commissioner Paul Caragiulo played Circus Clowns Zip Zap and Zop.

Members of the Sarasota Ministerial Association organized the meal and fed about 500 people. The luncheon opened and closed with Thanksgiving songs performed by The Westcoast School Chorus.
