Sept. 27
Make a move
10:09 a.m. — 500 block of Cutter Lane. Parking. A woman complained that a construction crew was blocking the roadway and didn’t take her seriously when she asked them to move. The foreman said he would make sure vehicles were parked to allow better access.

Root of the damage
12:58 p.m. — 500 block of Harbourside Drive.
Traffic Accident. A man accidentally caused $500 worth of damage to a gate while delivering a palm tree.

Find a new fishing spot
2:44 p.m. — 700 block of Lands End Drive.
Suspicious Circumstance. Three people were fishing on a woman’s private beach and were making a woman feel uncomfortable.

Sept. 28
Permission granted
1:06 a.m. — Linley Street.
Trespassing. Four teens were fishing from a restaurant dock but had permission to be there.

Sept. 29
Crossed signals
7:06 p.m. — Longboat Pass Bridge.
Abandoned 911 Call. Dispatch received a call from a cellphone number but only heard static followed by a message that the phone’s service was disconnected. Bradenton Beach police advised that they had received a call from the same number from a caller who had reported a reckless driver crossing the bridge.

Sept. 30
On the run
11:17 a.m. — 6800 block of GMD.
Civil Disturbance. A shopping center owner noticed the complex’s water meter running at an unusually high level and believed that a tenant who was moving out might have left the water running on purpose. The tenant said he hadn’t been feeling well and might have accidentally left it running.
