MONDAY EVENT MASHUP: Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

+ All Faiths Food Bank recognized local Hunger Action Heroes for their efforts during Hunger Action Month Friday, Oct. 11, at All Faiths Food Bank.

+ The Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival kicked off Saturday, Oct. 12, featuring longtime favorites such as children’s train rides, charity pumpkin games, a petting zoo and frog-jumping championships.

+ The 3rd Annual Interior Design Society Party on the Pass was held at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron Saturday, Oct 12, in which local business leaders and members enjoyed the sunset on the bay with dinner and live music.

+ The Sarasota Sailing Squadron hosted the third race of the first annual Sarasota SUP Race Series Saturday, Oct. 12.

+ Braden River High School held its homecoming dance Saturday, Oct. 12. At the “Comic Book” themed dance, held in the school’s gym, students could watch clips of super hero movies on a projector screen as they grooved.

+ Local dog vendors and adoption centers spent the day at Evie’s Family Center, Saturday Oct. 12. Big Dog Ranch Rescue organized the day out event, which invited families to enjoy the warm weather and find a new friend to bring home.

+ Runners gathered at Phillippi Shores Elementary School Saturday, Oct. 12, for the 7K and 1 mile Fun Run.
