1 - Cardinal Mooney senior Grace Casagrande crossed the finish line in 19 minutes, 14.50 seconds to finish first overall at the Tri-County Cross-Country Championships Oct. 17, in Sarasota.

2 - The Sarasota Crew finished second in the Men’s Youth Fours at the 49th Head of Charles Regatta Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, in Boston.

3 - Braden River High’s Bianca Dean and Lakewood Ranch’s Theresa Morrissey both earned individual qualifying spots in the Class 3A-Region 5 tournament Oct. 21.

4 - Ashlyn Falahee recorded 20 kills to help power the Lakewood Ranch High volleyball team to a 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Manatee Oct. 16.

5 - The Manatee Admirals hockey team improved to 4-0 with a 12-4 win over Bloomingdale Oct. 18.
