Rosemarie Mildred Wagstaff, 71, of Plaistow, N.H., and formerly of Longboat Key, died Oct. 11.

Born Jan. 22, 1942, in Brockton, Mass., she was raised and educated in Middletown, R.I., and graduated from Rogers High School in the class of 1960.

Mrs. Wagstaff worked as a supervisor in the central files department for Wang Laboratories in Lawrence, Mass.

Mrs. Wagstaff loved cooking and entertaining for her friends and family. As a younger woman, she enjoyed raising her children and caring for her family. She defeated cancer three times but still embraced life with joy and laughter.

Mrs. Wagstaff was preceded in death by her husband, James Wagstaff Jr. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Jacome, of Middletown, R.I., daughters Sandy Silveira, of Plaistown, Tammy Wagstaff, of Sandown, N.H., and Pam Douglas, of Chester, N.H.; sister Mildred Silveira, of Middletown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two aunts; two uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at St. Anne’s Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, N.H.
