Air travel just got a little easier for Sarasota-Bradenton travelers.

Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) began offering curbside valet parking Tuesday, giving travelers the option to leave their vehicle with a valet parking attendant located near the terminal front drive center canopy at check-in. Returning travelers will retrieve their cars at the same location. The daily maximum fee is $16 with a minimum fee of $10.

Vehicles will be parked at a nearby airport parking lot.

Republic Parking System, which will run SRQ’s new valet service, operates no wait terminal curbside valet parking service at other airports. Valet service attendants monitor flight information displays to know when travelers will be returning, and have their cars waiting in the valet pick-up area without any time wasted waiting in line.

SRQ is offering an introductory offer for one free day of valet parking to customers staying more than two days.

Residents can call 359-5200 for more information, or visit www.srq-airport.com
