Children's World receives state recognition for recycling

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection recognized Children’s World Uniform Supply Wednesday, Aug. 28, for its recycling efforts. Jon Iglehart, of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, presented the store with the Department Recycling Recognition Award for its 44% recycling rate of materials including material boxes, paper, bottles cans and pallets.

The store was also recognized for its efforts to install additional insulation, high-efficiency air conditioning units, solar window film and other environmentally friendly devices.
